A musical weekend

Each weekend at ICHC we have a theme for lolz. Somebody suggests one, other people say, "Hey, great idea!" and the rest of us jump on the bandwagon (pun sorta intended). Anyway, I was browsing through some older lolz and found this four-part, Xena-themed, operetta-inspired series.



You recognize that song, right? The original starts out: "I am the very model of a modern major-general..." It's so cleverly rhymed and funny, and it isn't easy to do good parodies of it, but the person who did these Xena lolz has it down pat.

I made the front page!

I logged on to I Can Has Cheezburger? yesterday and saw a whole slew of new messages... messages of congratulations on my front-page lol! Since I never usually see the front page until I get my subscription email around midnight, I hadn't known about this before logging on. Wow, what a surprise! The number of people adding this particular lol to their favorites has grown in the hundreds - it's going to take at least a week to catch up with all the new names on the list.

To explain a little about this lol: I'm not a fan of medical shows (because of squeamishness, mostly), but I love the CSI programs. I enjoy the stories, the actors, and the chance to learn about esoteric little details that may come in handy someday. Oh, and Gil Grissom is my favorite character of all the CSI shows. Too bad he left...

It's mine.

How many times has somebody said to you, "Well, I don't see your name on it!" when there's a dispute about a parking space, a seat in a theatre, a shopping cart, or anything else that is up for grabs by other people?

This cat has that problem solved, at least for one item. But I have to wonder: Now that he has it, what does he plan to do with it?
